Chilli, Basil and Garlic Dressing

A little bite never hurt anyone…

Serves 6

INGREDIENTS

    1 Garlic clove, crushed
    1/2 Cup Fresh basil
    1 Tbsp Garlic chives or Spring onions
    1 Red Chilli, de-seeded
    1/2 Lemon, juiced
    1/3 Cup Olive Oil
    1/4 tsp Salt
    1/4 tsp Sugar or honey

MAKING THE MAGIC

Blend all the ingredients in a blender until chopped, leave a little chunky. Taste and season again if the dressing needs it. Use as a marinade or as a dressing.

If you like the dressing to be hotter, add a little of the chilli seeds.
